Ehsaas Program

Dr Sania Nishtar Reviews Progress and Scalup of Ehsaas Tahafuz

In the coming months, the programme is set to reach out to many more people, including those without health insurance. The initiative aims to provide immediate and free medical care to deserving patients. This is being done in coordination with the Sehat Sahulat Programme. Those who are deserving of this assistance will be identified through an assessment. The program is also set to be rolled out in other parts of the country.

During the review, Dr. Sania Nishtar met with beneficiaries and the technical team of medical experts to gain a better understanding of the programme’s impact. She also visited emergency wards, ophthalmology wards, and ICU wards to understand patient perspectives and get their feedback. This is an important step in the process of scaling up Ehsaas Tahafuz.

In the review, Dr. Sania sought feedback from patients who had received care through the programme. The initiative, which was launched in 2015, is a patient-centric programme that addresses one-time catastrophic health costs for the uninsured. It also caters to those who cannot afford medical care. This is especially important for the poor and middle class in Pakistan.

Using the lessons learned during the pilot phase, the programme is being scaled up. Public hospitals are working to identify eligible patients and then allocate donations to them. The programme will aim to serve patients who cannot afford to pay for their own medical care, but do not have the insurance coverage. In addition, the programme will also provide a one-window paperless safety net for patients and caregivers.

The pilot of the programme has facilitated the identification of eligible patients, and the programme will expand to 14 public sector hospitals. The programme is patient-centric and focuses on the needs of the patients. It is a government-sponsored project and will be rolled out to 14 tertiary hospitals across Pakistan. The programme will be a one-window digital interface. In addition to this, it will also include a mobile app and a grievance redress mechanism.

The programme’s implementation is based on patient-centric principles. It focuses on the needs of patients, and identifies the most effective ways to reach these patients. In addition, the system will have a dashboard that keeps track of progress and ensure that people have access to the services they need. This will help the system increase its efficiency and ensure that the programme is effective.

A number of aspects of the programme were discussed at the meeting. The first pillar was the expansion of the programme to 14 public sector hospitals. Other areas of discussion included the implementation of a grievance redress mechanism and the development of the Ehsaas Tahafuz expert committee. In addition, the group approved a customised web application for the programme.

The program’s scaleup will be based on the lessons learned during its pilot phase. It will work in partnership with public hospitals to identify eligible patients. The system will then assess them and allocate donated funds to them. It will be a one-window paperless safety net for people in need of emergency health care. In addition, the program will also provide information for the beneficiaries.

The Ehsaas Tahafuz programme is currently being scaled based on the lessons learned from the pilot. It will work with public hospitals to identify eligible patients. Once identified, the system will assess these patients and allocate the donations to those in need. The program will serve patients who can’t afford the cost of their health. In this way, the government can ensure that these individuals will be taken care of during their emergency.

The Ehsaas Tahafuz project has been a success in helping patients overcome the devastating effects of an unforeseen health crisis. The initiative has expanded to fourteen public hospitals in Pakistan. It has helped people who cannot afford healthcare to afford it. In some cases, it provides more than enough money to cover the entire cost. And it is helping those who don’t have insurance can’t afford to pay.
